TURP (TRANSURETHRAL RESECTION OF PROSTATE)
Lots of men in their 60s onwards suffer with issue of passing urine, including increased frequency and slow stream. Some of them can go into urinary retention. After careful assessment lot of these symptoms can be helped with procedure (TURP) Transurethral resection of the prostate. It’s an endoscopic Procedure with less trauma and early recovery.
It’s a an endoscopic procedure. A small endoscope is passed into the urine passage and the prostate that is blocking urine passage is scraped of and removed. Procedure is done under anesthesia.
